FAQ
Clear answers before starting a website or lead-system project.
Simple explanations of what we do, how website updates work, when a new website is needed, and what ongoing support includes.
What does SiteScale actually do?
SiteScale helps local businesses improve their current website so more visitors become enquiries. This can include better contact sections, enquiry forms, instant replies, follow-ups, smart FAQ assistants, landing pages, or a new website if the current one is too weak.
Do I need a brand-new website?
Not always. Many businesses only need their current website cleaned up with clearer buttons, a better enquiry form, instant replies, and a simple lead tracker. A new website is only recommended when the current site is too outdated, confusing, or hard to fix properly.
What is the free website lead audit?
It is a quick review of your current website and enquiry flow. We look for obvious problems that may stop people from contacting, booking, or requesting a quote. A current website URL is required so the audit can be completed properly.
What if I do not have a website yet?
The free audit is for existing websites. If you do not have a website yet, you can still contact us by email and ask about a new website build or one-page landing page.
What is the £299 Starter Lead System?
It is a starter upgrade for a website you already have. We review the current enquiry flow, improve the contact section or enquiry form, set up an instant branded reply, and create a simple place to track new leads. It is not a full new website build.
What is a one-page landing page?
It is a focused single page built around one service, offer, location, or campaign. The goal is simple: explain the offer clearly and get the visitor to call, book, or enquire.
How are changes made to my current website?
Most small business websites use platforms like WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow, or GoDaddy. In those cases, changes are usually made through the website dashboard. If the site is custom-coded, we can work with the code files, hosting access, or your current developer.
How is a smart FAQ assistant added?
We set up the assistant using your business information, services, FAQs, prices or policies where provided, then add it to the website using a small embed code or platform integration. It does not usually require rebuilding the whole website.
Is the monthly care plan required?
No. The setup price builds the agreed system. The care plan is optional and is only for ongoing help after launch, such as assistant updates, form checks, small wording changes, automation checks, and basic monthly reporting.
What is not included in the monthly care plan?
It does not include full redesigns, brand-new websites, large new features, paid ads management, complex CRM builds, ecommerce systems, or unlimited same-day work. Those are quoted separately.
Do you need my passwords?
Only if access is needed and agreed. Where possible, use temporary staff access, collaborator access, or your current developer. Do not send passwords through normal contact forms.
Can I send links or scripts through the form?
No. For security, the form only asks for the main current website URL. Extra links, tracking links, scripts, or suspicious files may be blocked. If something unusual is needed, email us first.
